It has two large bedrooms, with built in wardrobes, and two bathrooms (one en-suite) and is both spacious and relaxing, even though it's in the heart of town. Both bedrooms and the lounge open onto the balcony, which overlooks the pool. (Please note: The pool and gardens are likely to be closed throughout 2014.) Free wi-fi access is available in reception.

Monte Gordo is a resort with everything close to hand, and car hire although recommended - especially if you want to explore the region - isn't essential!
